CHAPTER 2.2
Lumin teased in a cute voice, covering Ma Jehyuk’s eyes with his hands and essentially hugging him from behind. He then glanced over Ma Jehyuk’s shoulder to the man he was speaking to and made a slight gasp of surprise. It looked like he hadn’t expected to see Taesup here.
Taesup suddenly felt suffocated. Why was Lumin speaking informally with Ma Jehyuk? And being so playful on top of that? Ma Jehyuk didn’t seem to care that a sunbae was standing in front of him and gently took hold of Lumin’s hand over his eyes.
“Hey, you,” Ma Jehyuk spoke affectionately. “I was just about to head inside.”
“I waited for you… but you didn’t come, so...”
Lumin couldn’t take his eyes off Taesup’s sharp, smoldering gaze as he answered. Lumin’s round eyes looked puzzled. He was clearly unaware that Taesup had bought a coffee truck—something he’d never done before—and even visited the set solely because of him.
“Ahjus—I mean, Lim Taesup Sunbae. Hello.”
Taesup frowned at the formal title that included his last name. Of course, it was only natural to be called that in a public place where people didn’t know their true relationship. When it was just the two of them in a private space, Lumin would call out for him: “Ahjussi, Ahjussi…” Taesup became irrationally angry.
He had to get out of this place.
Taesup cleared his throat, turned around, and headed to his car without saying a word. His face turned red and blue as he recalled a past memory.
“Ta-dah! Guess who!”
“Hey, quit it! I told you not to do that kinda stuff. What if someone sees us?”
***
Lumin came out of the shower, having washed up with the hotel’s amenities, and put on the sweater Taesup had gifted him over his blue briefs. He stood in front of the mirror, checking out the sweater from different angles. He seemed to really like the gift. It wasn’t unusual for Taesup to give Lumin presents, but it was the first time he had simply given a gift on an ordinary day, for no special occasion.
The sweater almost felt like a bribe—Taesup had given it the second Lumin entered the hotel room. He had something important to say. Taesup sat on the edge of the bed, leaned forward, put his elbows on his knees, and clasped his hands together as if praying. He watched Lumin’s actions in front of the mirror from afar with an anxious expression.
The man’s haggard face showed that he was still suffering from insomnia.
“Lumin.”
Lumin turned toward Taesup. The tiger’s eyes embroidered on the sweater met Taesup’s gaze. It felt similar to the unpleasant gaze of Ma Jehyuk, and for a moment, he regretted choosing the sweater as a gift.
Lumin looked at Taesup, who had stopped talking, and bowed his head.
“Thank you. I’ll wear it well.”
“Yeah, sure thing...”
Taesup scratched his eyebrows awkwardly. It was nice seeing the smiling Lumin, who had a clean and fresh face after washing up. Compared to his peers, Lumin was a polite and well-mannered kid. He was different from the others who’d grumble about their gifts and ask for a credit card instead.
You’re such a great kid. Why would you get into a relationship with such an old guy? …thought Lim Taesup, thirty-five years old.
“Well, uh, Lumin, I gave it some thought, and I’m against you dating.”
“How come?”
Lumin, in the midst of taking off the sweater, opened his round eyes wide.
How come…? You really don’t know?
The dark sweater contrasted with Lumin’s pale body, making him look even more alluring.
So now he belongs to Ma Jehyuk? Dammit, this is driving me insane.
The grass was always greener on the other side, and Taesup had come to realize this personally after finding out that Lumin was dating Ma Jehyuk.
Lumin, whose head poked out of the sweater, looked at Taesup with his arms still tangled. In the entertainment industry, celebrities with Lumin’s level of seniority were usually jaded and had cold eyes except when on TV, but Lumin’s eyes sparkled even though he’d been in the industry for quite some time.
For some reason, Taesup couldn’t keep looking at those eyes, so he averted his gaze to his hands clasped together as if in prayer.
“I don’t want to share your asshole with him,” he blurted harshly.
Being in a sponsored relationship wasn’t something to be proud of, but no matter what, it was cruel, not to mention extremely rude, to speak so vulgarly to Lumin. Taesup used such words because he wanted Lumin to share some of the pain he was feeling because of recent events. But he immediately regretted it.
Hearing no reply, he raised his gaze from his hands to Lumin. Without making a sound, Lumin walked closer to Taesup and put a hand on the man’s cheek with an unreadable expression. The soft hand touched the scratchy cheek, roughened from a lack of sleep. Taesup closed his eyes and quietly felt the touch of the hand. Sometimes, when they looked at each other, Lumin would reach out and grab Taesup’s cheek like this with a look of cheerful excitement.
“Ahjussi, I haven’t done anything with Jehyuk Hyung yet,” Lumin spoke. “I won’t sleep with anyone else while I’m with you. That’s a condition of the contract. So I’m going to do it after the sponsorship.”
Lumin was both polite and direct.
Fuck.
Taesup gently grabbed Lumin’s hand from his cheek, pulled it to his lips, and kissed the back of his hand. Lumin’s eyes shook at the gesture. It was the kind of action Taesup didn’t usually do. But maybe because he’d seen Ma Jehyuk show this sort of affectionate behavior last time, Taesup was unconsciously imitating the movements of Lumin’s boyfriend.
“I mean, are you really going to date that guy?”
“What? Well, yes...”
Lumin made an awkward expression as Taesup continued to hold his hand. His palm smelled of soft milk.
“Dating isn’t all that great, Lumin. So would you…”
“Yes?”
“To put it bluntly, would you be able to tell him that I’m sponsoring you?”
Lumin became flustered at the question and tried to pull away with all his might from Taesup’s grasp, but Taesup held his hand even tighter and pulled Lumin’s body into his firm arms. He nuzzled his rough cheek against Lumin’s soft skin and felt his warmth.
“How do you think he’d respond if you told him?” Taesup asked, his tone becoming more threatening, while he rubbed his face against Lumin’s chest.
“What? I could never!”
When Lumin again tried to escape his embrace and looked down at him, Taesup made a sarcastic expression, pretending to look pitiful. Lumin’s dramatic reaction ironically seemed to calm Taesup’s burning insides.
“A-are you going to tell him?” Lumin asked nervously.
Taesup raised the corners of his mouth mockingly and stared into Lumin’s eyes without answering.
“You won’t, right?”
“Well, I don’t plan to stay entirely silent about it.”
“What? What do you mean? Please don’t tell Hyung! Please…”
Lumin’s face, which had been pale to begin with, became white as a sheet as his blood drained. He shook his whole body in a total rejection of Taesup’s veiled threat. Seeing this behavior, a lump formed in Taesup’s heart, and his anger rose. Why was Lumin so set on not telling Ma Jehyuk? He tightened his grip on Lumin. The kid had never once said “no” to him, regardless of the sponsorship. But why was he now rebelling so much because of this Ma Jehyuk guy? It wasn’t funny, not one bit.
“I’ll be good until the end of the contract, so please…”
“Hah, until the end?”
What do you mean “the end”? Like I’d let you end it.
Taesup threw Lumin onto the bed, his cold eyes flashing. The bed shook, and Lumin let out a yelp at the shock. It was the first time Taesup had ever behaved aggressively toward him, and he hugged a pillow in fear.
Taesup grabbed Lumin’s thin ankles with both hands and pulled him down. Lumin’s body was dragged down helplessly, and the pillow was naturally pushed aside. Taesup grabbed Lumin’s briefs to tear them off, and his unfocused eyes scanned Lumin from his head down to his genitals. Taesup kneeled between the roughly spread legs and unbuckled his pants.
Lumin’s face turned paler at the sight. He quickly got up and grabbed Taesup’s shoulders with both hands to stop him.
“I haven’t prepped yet, Ahjussi! I need to—ahh!”
Lumin tried to block Taesup, but he cried in pain and gripped the bed sheet as Taesup separated his entangled legs and thrust into his tightly closed hole. Cold sweat formed on Lumin’s neck as he threw his head back. His hole, which hadn’t been stretched out enough, was incredibly tight
“Urgh, relax, it’ll go in.”
“Ah, ngh, please...”
Taesup didn’t pay attention to Lumin’s avid refusal. He simply pulled out for a moment and then ruthlessly thrust his penis into the tightly closed hole again. He repeated this motion, rubbing his penis against the narrow gap and slowly squeezing in. Lumin’s hole, dry from a lack of lubrication, gaped wide. Blood stained the white sheet.
“Ah, ahh! Urgh! S-stop! Hngh!”
Lumin let out a painful groan that Taesup had never heard before as his penis entered his body slowly. In the past, Taesup had always carefully and leisurely loosened Lumin’s hole before penetrating, so it was his first time hearing this moan. It wasn’t bad to hear.
How dare you make it so hard for me. Who the hell are you? Who do you think you are?
From then on, Taesup started to vent his anger on Lumin for no apparent reason.
